This song “Something is Happening” was written at a time of being very close to God. The narrative is really true and just may change your life.
Narrative – Something is Happening
I was living alone for the first time in my life. I decided to concentrate on God. I went to church at least 3 times a week and would sometimes find a church to go to everyday. I also went on all the retreats the churches had to offer and I prayed constantly.
Something happened to me during that time. I began to feel God’s presence and power in a way like never before. Something different and very good was happening to me.
I felt I needed to write a song about how I felt so I would never forget this feeling. This song came easily to me.
The lead sheets include guitar chords. It was written quite a while ago in younger years. I scanned the original lead sheet from when it was first written, so please excuse if not high quality. The lyrics are very readable on a separate PDF below.
