Praying with Ephesians 1:3-4 Blessed be God
Lord, thank you so much for sending Apostle Paul out to teach the gentiles about you. We learn a great deal from his letters to the churches that were started by his ministry.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I pray Father God, that you would be blessed by my decisions, my spoken words, my actions, and my service. May my life bring joy and blessings to you. I know even though I want to, I don’t always bless you. So, help me in those areas to move closer to you and to be strong in you.
who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
I can’t thank you enough for all the blessings you have given. To think that you have blessed me with every spiritual blessing is overwhelming. Through the Holy Spirit I can hear your voice and receive direction and care. The love you give is incomparable to any other.
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world,
It is hard for me to fathom that you chose me before Earth was even made. Only you could do that. You are not restricted by time. Your power and wisdom is unimaginable. Thank you for choosing me and loving me first before I loved you.
that we should be holy and blameless before him.
Yes I should definitely be holy and blameless before you. I do so long for my life to bless you. Please put me on the right path when I stray. And correct me when I falter.
Revive my spirit. Don’t let me get complacent. Make me excited about serving you. May my spirit be fruitful and help many others to know you.
I pray in the name of Jesus, my powerful majestic Lord and savior. Amen.
