We all need Jesus to set us free from something. It may be as simple as anger, unforgiveness, doubt, or some type of addictions. But we will never be free from our strongholds until we allow Jesus to free us. We must let him in. This very short verse is a great one to memorize and reflect on. What has he freed you from? Is there anything you’re still holding on to?
Start by reading this verse out loud. Think about how it relates to your life. Try to fully understand its meaning. Pray about it.
Repeat this verse over again as many times as needed to be able to memorize it. Some people memorize better if they write it down. Use whatever method works for you.
Keep going back to the verse periodically to refresh your memory.
