1 Corinthians 13:13 reminds us that loving is more important than anything. To serve God, we must have faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love! Some people may be harder to love than others. That’s where prayer comes in. We can ask Jesus to help us love. Being that God is love, he is certainly able to help us love if we let him.
So memorize this verse. When you are having a difficult time loving, recite 1 Corinthians 13:13. Pray about it. Let God put love in your heart.
Start by reading the verse out loud. Think about how it relates to your life. Try to fully understand its meaning. Pray about what this verse means to you.
Repeat the verse over again as many times as needed to be able to memorize it. Some people memorize better if they write it down. Use whatever method works for you.
Keep going back to this verse periodically to refresh your memory.
