Dear Lord, (A Prayer for Unsaved Loved Ones)
Thank You Lord:
Thank you for blessing me with all the people you have put in my life, especially my family and friends whom I love. You are so gracious and good. I completely trust you for you are faithful.
Cry of My Heart for Loved Ones:
It is the cry of my heart that those I love would be saved (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-10, Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8). To have their names written in the book of life (Revelation 3:5, Revelation 13:8, Revelation 20:15).
I pray they will come to know you in a deeply personal way and that you will move in their lives, lovingly guiding their every step.
Whatever it Takes:
Do whatever it takes. Use other people that they would respect and listen to. Go into their dreams. Use situations to open doors that would lead them to you. You know exactly what they need, in order for them to reach out to you and let you into their hearts. I hope they don’t have to go through fierce trials like I did. But if that’s what it takes, so be it.
Holy Spirit:
Please touch them with your wonderful Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5, Romans 15:13, John 14:26, Acts 13:52, Luke 11:13), giving them peace, love, and faith. Prove to them how real you are! Reveal yourself in a way that they cannot deny!
Use Me: A Prayer for Unsaved Loved Ones
Use me, Lord. Give me wisdom of what I can do (or not do) to help lead them to you. May my life be an example of how good it is to know and serve you. Help me to be patient and bold. Lead my steps and forgive me for my failures.
Repentance: A Prayer for Unsaved Loved Ones
I pray, Lord, that you would bring them to the point of repentance (Matthew 4:17, Luke 13:1-5) and that you would forgive them their sins and clean them to be white as snow. That they would turn and follow you.
Their salvation is the most important thing in their ever so short lives, above all other blessings. And it is what I so desperately long for. I beg you Lord, save them!
I pray these things in that sweet, loving, almighty name of Jesus, my Lord and savior.
Amen.
