Praying with Scriptures Isaiah 40:31 They that Wait upon the Lord

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;

Thank you Lord for always being with me and for me. You are faithful in every way. Just knowing you are close gives me peace. Even if I have to suffer for a while, trusting in you gives me strength to go through the storm. I know you will get me through whatever I have to face.

Your timing is perfect. It may seem like it’s not sometimes. But you are all-knowing. You know the future and you know people’s hearts. Only you know what is best. So I wait. I wait to see how you are going to come through this time like you always have before. With trust in your faithfulness, I wait and confidently move forward.

they shall mount up with wings as eagles;

The Holy Spirit gives me strength to go boldly towards your will in my life. I know you will never steer me wrong. Fear diminishes when you are leading the way.

they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Revive my spirit Lord. Don’t let me get complacent. May my spirit never get tired of serving you. Make me grow closer to you every day.

If I ever stray, please pick me up and put me on the right path. Forgive me when I slip up. Help me to stay close while I wait. Remove any strongholds getting in the way. My spirit is strong when I continuously follow and wait on you. Keep me Lord. So I will not be weary, but will be the servant that I’m meant to be.

I pray in that wonderful name of Jesus. I love you, Lord. Amen.
