This song “Don’t You Feel” is about witnessing to someone who does not know Jesus and trying to tell them what they’re missing. The narrative is true and shows where this song came from.
Narrative – Don’t You Feel
I was raised in a household that never spoke of God or went to church. I married and raised my children the same way.
While my children were in their teens, a miracle happened – I was saved. After about four years of getting to know and serve the Lord, I came to realize how much I had missed out on for far too long.
I was thinking of my unsaved family, friends, and co-workers. I felt sad for them since they didn’t know what they were missing.
I wrote this song for them and anyone else who doesn’t know the Lord. I don’t want anyone to miss out.
The lead sheet includes beginner level guitar chords. It was written quite a while ago in younger years. I scanned the original lead sheet from when it was first written, so please excuse if not high quality. The lyrics are very readable on a separate PDF below.
