Praying with Scriptures James 1:5 Wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom,
Lord, I need your wisdom. I have a decision to make and I don’t want to make it by myself. Looking at my past, I can see I don’t usually make the best decisions. I think I can. I believe at the time that I made the best decision. But it usually doesn’t work out as I had hoped. I need your wisdom. You know the future and you know people’s hearts. So I’m asking you.
You should ask God,
Please help me out here and give me wisdom of what you want me to do. Make my path clear. Tell me in a way that I know without a doubt that is was from you.
who gives generously to all without finding fault,
Thank you for giving your wisdom generously and without finding fault. So many times we ask for your wisdom after we already made a mess of things. But you don’t lecture or make us feel bad, you just lead us back to the right path.
and it will be given to you.
I’m holding on to this statement; that it will be given to me. I will keep asking until I receive the wisdom I need from you. Thank you in advance for giving me the wisdom I need to follow your will.
In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
