Weekly Challenge – Love God’s Commandments
The challenge for this week is “Love God’s Commandments”.

God’s Commandments for Good of His People:
Loving God’s commandments is not something most people do often. But if you think about it, God made his commandments for the good of his people. If we love and appreciate his commandments, we would be much more likely to follow them with joy and contentment.
Psalms 119
Psalms 119 is mainly different people expressing their love and appreciation for God’s commandments.
Healthy for Us:
These commandments keep us on the right path. They bring us closer to God. Following them keeps us healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Though we are unable to keep them all, we should try.
Challenge:
So for one week, prayerfully try to love and appreciate God’s commandments. Thank God for them. Appreciate them.
Have a mindset of loving and appreciating God’s commandments for one full week and see what happens. See how it brings you closer to God.
Here are just a few of the Bible verses in Psalms 119 to help motivate you.
Psalms 119
I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law. My soul is consumed with longing for your laws at all times. Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws. I run in the path of your commands, for you have broadened my understanding.

Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight. Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. I reach out for your commands, which I love, that I may meditate on your decrees.

I remember, LORD, your ancient laws, and I find comfort in them. Your decrees are the theme of my song wherever I lodge. At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Because I love your commands more than gold, more than pure gold, and because I consider all your precepts right, I hate every wrong path. Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them.
I hate and detest falsehood but I love your law. Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws. I obey your statutes, for I love them greatly. I long for your salvation, LORD, and your law gives me delight.
