Thank you Lord for being a loving and caring God. You love us more than we could ever possibly love anybody or anything. You genuinely care for our well-being and want what is best for us.
Prayer for Others:
First I pray for other people who need your healing. Lord, I pray you heal every area of their lives. Heal their body, mind, and spirit. If they are in financial trouble, open doors and bring a miracle in that struggle. Mend the broken family units and allow peace and unity to enter in. If they are suffering in their bodies, touch them right now. May they actually feel your healing touch. Depression and loneliness hits a lot of people. Fill the voids in their lives. Most importantly, I pray for revival and healings in their spirits. If they are not yet, I pray for their salvation. Touch them in the way that you know they need. May all these people know it was you who healed them and may they grow closer to you.
All Powerful:
Even if doctors say there is nothing we can do, you know what to do. You know every hair on our head and our every need (Matthew 10:29-31, Luke 12:6-7). Illnesses like cancer, diabetes, & autism, are not stronger than you. You can heal anyone from anything with your power. You are the most powerful and omnipotent force in the universe!
Now I lift my own health up to you and ask that you heal me. You know my health issues and all the problem areas in my life. Please touch me now with your healing power. I have open arms and I invite you in.
Healings in Biblical Days:
Your healings were so powerful and frequent when the Christian church was first rising (Acts 19:11, Matthew 9:20-22, Luke 9:1-2). The apostles didn’t even have to pray for it to happen. Sometimes people only needed to touch them and they were healed. Or the apostles just spoke healings to a person and they were healed. We don’t really see that happening these days. But I still believe you are able and you do heal.
Faith to Move Mountains:
You say nothing is impossible if we have faith (Matthew 17:21). That’s the kind of faith I long to have. I don’t want these prayers to go void. Build my faith so I can move mountains!
